MOGI GUACU 鈥 Sylvamo (NYSE: SLVM), the world's paper company, is proud to announce the progress of the Mogi Guacu Roots program. The program, which started in 2018, is a partnership between Sylvamo and World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to develop a forest restoration program that strengthens water resilience in Brazil鈥檚 Atlantic Forest.
To date, the program has partnered with landowners and municipalities to:

Plant 217,000 seedlings

Restore more than 180 hectares

Protect 108 springs in the Mogi Guacu River basin

Partners receive seedlings and resources to restore natural habitats, reduce erosion and protect biodiversity. The project has a goal to restore 480 hectares by 2026.
